We are here!!

We have finlly reached the wonderful city. The trip was really tideous thou. We lost our flight from Frankfurt to Buenos Aires because of the stormy weather in Germany. And we had to stand in a crazy long line for 10 - ten hours - seriously. Because all of the cancelled and delayed flights there was a complete chaos at the airport. They fed us chocolates and bananas. We meet some very cool people in the queue; Alex from Canada, Scott from Miami, German Girl and Henrik from Denmark. So we actually had a Q-party with beer in the line. The Lufthansa staff did not seem to mind at this point.

After the nice Q party Lufthansa gave us a room at the airport hotel, and we got put on the waitlist. We were extremely happy when they let us on the plane. Then 13 hours later we reached the destination.

Monday

Carolinas Dad, Alberto, gave us a tour of our neighbourhood, Recoleta and Palermo and an exhausting 6 hours Spanish lesson. He bought us a very nice 3 course lunch with vino tinto. We tried the asado - very interesting.
