Tango shopping

One of the first things we had to do here is to go shoe shopping for some new tango shoes. And the first place we checked out was the Comme il Faut store. The store looks like someones apartment, you sit down and the bring out the shoes depending on your size, colors you prefer and the mood of the staff. They had a lot of lovely shoes, and we had to start out with buying two pairs each:) The new shiney shoes were tried out the same evening at Practica X. Famous Chicho Frumboli and Mariana Montes were some of the guests there. The practica were more like an informal milonga. And there was a show. Afterwards we checked out La Catedral, another milonga in a barn. It was unofficially opened after a fire 4 years ago, not too great actually.
