Mar del Plata

From Thursday to Sunday we went to Mar del Plata to visit our friends Mariana and Gustavo. It was a 5 hours bus drive south along the coast.
Thursday evening they took us to a relaxed "pub" tango where a lot of local young people were dancing. We got to meet Mariana and Gustavo´s friends and dance with some of them. That was really fun:)
Friday we went to a formal geriatirc milonga. The dancing crowd is either young people or those above 60. The generation in between have not learned tango. This is because of the political situation that was in Argentina.
Saturday was Women´s Day and we went to another very nice informal milonga at American Libre. We also had private lessons during our stay here.
